HTS Intermodaal provides inland container shipping from point to point and from seaport to front door. For this, we combine high frequencies with fixed, reliable sailing schedules. Both within the Netherlands and Belgium and towards Germany. Transport between the seaports and destinations on the Lower Rhine constitutes an important specialism in this respect. But with the same ease, we can sail to Switzerland upon request or reposition containers between two inland terminals. The size of our fleet enables us to flexibly anticipate every customer requirement and always offer customised solutions. Also by swiftly adding additional barge capacity in the event of imminent delays, for example. The rivers offer ample scope to add even more value for our customers in this respect.
Wherever and whenever necessary, HTS Intermodaal also uses the train for customers. For destinations that are harder to reach by barge, for example, or as an alternative when water levels are low. Agreements are in place with major rail operators on various routes. We have fixed train slots for several destinations. In this way, customers benefit from synchromodal solutions.
We cover the ‘last mile’ between inland terminal and warehouse or factory by truck for our customers. Throughout our entire network, we work together with reliable transport partners for this. These road hauliers know the local roads like the backs of their hands. On demand, they always deliver the containers right up to the front door or collect them there as scheduled.
